Integrated Early Childhood – IEC
The purpose of this committee is to provide resources and support to the Thompson R2-J School District Integrated Early Childhood Program. This committee meets year round to fulfill the needs of teachers and programs. The main focus is to provide books and educational extras including kits of school supplies for at home use, handmade felt story boards, hand puppets, weighted lap blankets for calming, and other extras. Also, the committee supports the Early Childhood Literacy Fair every spring. The committee has also hosted fundraisers at Barnes and Noble and participates in Philo’s Raise Right fundraiser. Philo members are encouraged to donate books, underwear, hats, and mittens at the annual Christmas Party.
